Pushes and Counters*
Hog - Freeze
Place a hog and freeze anything in its path
Double Giant
Place giant and royal giant (easily countered by minion horde or skeleton army)
Prince - Dark Prince
Place a prince and a dark prince at the same time (easily countered by minion horde)
X-bow - Skeleton Army
Place x-bow and a skeleton Army in front if it. (easily countered by minion horde)
Minions - Lava Hound
Rush minions and lava hound to tank
Mirror - Goblin Barrel
Use goblin barrel and bait out his counter, then place another goblin barrel using mirror (easily countered if the opponent has zap and arrows in his hand)
Giant - Witch
Put a witch in the back then when it gets to the bridge then put a giant to tank
Hog Trifecta
Put the valkyrie to tank for the hog and musketeer to destroy air troops. Then play skeletons.(easily destroyed by minion horde, if placed correctly) *this may not work because elixir pump was changed to 6 elixir
Giant - Balloon
Balloon in the back and giant in the front so it can tank for the balloon (easily countered by minion horde)
Hog - Minion Horde
Hog in front of minion horde so it can destroy anything blocking the hog rider (easily countered by tornado or fireball)
Golem - Graveyard
Use golem to tank and make the tower target it and place the graveyard on the tower (easily countered by minion horde)
Bowler - Graveyard
Use bowler to tank and make the tower target it and place the graveyard on the tower (easily countered by minion horde)
Double Dragon (v.1)
Lava hound and inferno dragon, lava hound to tank, inferno dragon does major damage if it targets the tower
Double Dragon (v.2)
Baby dragon and inferno dragon, baby dragon to tank, inferno dragon does major damage if it targets the tower
Triple Dragon
Lava hound, baby dragon and inferno dragon, in that order, cause you always want the inferno dragon to target tower
Dark Lightning
Dark prince and lightning everything targeting the dark prince
Giant - Poison
Giant and poison to take out anything that is targeting it
Super Goblin Barrel
Goblin Barrel, Mirror, and clone the whole thing. This works better if on a clan battle and both people are using the same deck.
Elite Lava Clone -
Lava hound so it can tank for the elite barbarians, and after you can clone all of them (easily defended by skeleton army or minion horde)
Lavaloon Heal -
Play a lavaloon push, and when it gets to the tower, heal it (clone may help)
*Not all pushes are written down and definitely not all pushes are written down, sometimes there are multiple counters, just putting the one your opponent would most likely use
Tips
Always start pushes in the back, so you can gain elixir as you start your push
Don't use all of your elixir at once, only use all in desperate times
Don't leak elixir, when you get to ten elixir place a card down
Put a card that can soak up all of the damage, and put a damage dealing card after it
Any card can be used as defense, if used correctly
The average elixir cost for your deck should be between 2.5 and 4.5 elixir
If you defend on your side of the map, your arena tower will help you defend
You can predict your spells if your opponent always places a troop in a specific place
Don't place your troops to close together, your opponent can defend it easily
Small units > Tank Cards > Splash troops > Small units... etc. (This symbol > means "can kill")
All melee (not ranged troops) cannot attack air cards
Make your biggest push in the last minute of the battle (excluding overtime) because the last minute is double elixir time
Sometimes you want to go for the other arena tower especially in overtime, cause going for the king tower is sometimes risky
Zap stuns the troops hit, and log gives knockback to the troops hit
Use your miner to deal damage to a elixir collector before the tower
The elixir collector is a good way to keep your elixir high during an expensive push
The clone spell clones the troop(s) in the circle, but those troops have practically no health, they just do the same amount of damage
If there is a splash troop, you can surround it with sorta tanky troops like barbarians and kill it (excludes valkyrie and bomber)
Inferno tower is a good way to kill tanky troops, and inferno dragon is another good way, as long as the tank can't target air troops
You cannot clone troops that are already cloned
Zap can stop the prince's and dark prince's charge, it can even stop the sparky from shooting, just zap it and it will reset its charge
Freeze will only freeze the troops/buildings in its radius, if the opponent places something down right after you place down your freeze, the troops your opponent places will not freeze
